Last year's ACE in Place Vietnam group loved the opportunities to cook together and learn favorite dishes from each other

One of the highlights of the ACE in Place Peru 2021 program was being able to join a Pre-Inca Shamanic ritual, high in the andean mountains, offering thanks to Pachama (meaning Mother Earth in the ancient Quechua language) that dates back hundreds – maybe even thousands of years.

This is a picture of my cousin Peter and me hard at work thinking of ideas to share with the Vietnamese kids. Peter and I are in Michigan spending time with family.
