Nathaniel Hernandez, ACE in India 2018 alum and ACE Ambassador, had the opportunity to reflect back on his four years at Duke during the recently released Blue Devil 360 podcast. During the interview, Hernandez spoke about his ACE experience and the impact the program had on his life.
“ACE was life changing. It was just recently announced that the program was cancelled for this summer due to 2019. My heart breaks for all the people who were expecting to go in this ACE trip. I could talk for days about my experience. India was truly special because I got to work at a rehabilitation center… seeing the first-hand impact of how it affects peoples lives and trying to make their lives better while at the same time learning from them is an experience that I don’t think I would have gotten if it were not for ACE.”
