This year, the Duke Office of Civic Engagement released its first annual “Snapshots in Civic Engagement” campaign to demonstrate Duke faculty, staff, and student commitments to community involvement. The campaign names ACE among these opportunities for civic engagement, citing blog reflections and back on campus activities as evidence of how, for student-athletes, the ACE experience goes beyond the three-weeks of immersive, international summer service.
