Through my ACE experience I will be able to immerse myself into a culture completely different from the one I have known for the last 19 years of my life. Having never left North America, spending three weeks in Vietnam will have a profound impact on my knowledge of the world we live in.”
As part of the ACE in Vietnam program, Bronson will teach academics, sports and life skills to students at under-resourced middle schools in the Mekong Delta with the aim of encouraging them to prepare for higher education.
Bronson’s past experiences with service include participation in the Sophomore Outdoor Leadership Experience and work alongside his teammates with multiple organizations that aim to improve the lives of children, including the Durham Rescue Mission, Oxford Manor, and the El Paso Children’s Hospital.
