Through ACE, I will be able to work with a driven and diverse team to advance global conservation efforts while immersing myself in the local culture of Thailand. The projects we will be working on are an incredibly exciting opportunity to both better understand the issues faced by communities far removed from our own and help create holistic solutions to address them.
Matyas Csiki-Fejer’s past experiences with community engagement include trail restoration work in Prince William National Forest, participation in harm reduction projects for Boston’s housing-insecure communities, and assisting at soup kitchens in St. Louis.
