“Spending three weeks in India will give me the opportunity to provide children living under difficult conditions a safe outlet to grow and find their passion. I am excited to build meaningful relationships and immerse myself in a culture that is rich in color and history. Throughout the program I hope to share my life experiences and leadership skills to empower the children to become confident young adults.”

As part of the ACE in India program, Nicolette will serve as a coaching assistant for sports activities, teach English as a second language courses, and promote computer literacy initiatives for youth at a community center in Dakshinpuri, New Delhi.

Nicolette’s past experiences with service include volunteer service at the Stanford women’s gymnastics summer camp, membership on the Cardinal Council, and participation in United States for Veteran’s Health. With her team, Nicolette has volunteered at a local children’s hospital and the Ronald McDonald House.
