“Participating in the ACE program provides me with the opportunity to give back to the community in a unique way. It allows me to take two of my passions, school and athletics, abroad. It also allows me to educate young children on how the combination of the two can have a positive impact on one’s self-confidence and happiness.”
As part of the ACE in India program, Sammy will serve as a coaching assistant for sports activities, teach English as a second language courses, and promote computer literacy initiatives for youth at a community center in Dakshinpuri, New Delhi.
Sammy’s past experiences with service include being a member of and leader in Stanford’s Alpha Phi Sorority.
