Lillie is currently a junior on the Duke softball team. She is originally from Inola, Oklahoma and participated in the ACE in place Vietnam program in 2022. Although the program was virtual, she had an impactful experience working with Duke student-athletes, Stanford student-athletes, and Vietnamese college students to put together a summer program for Vietnamese middle school students. Her team was able to teach life skills, as well as other school subjects in hopes of promoting secondary education for the students. She also learned so much about the Vietnamese culture by participating in cultural exchange activities which included sharing about hometowns, cooking each others' favorite meals, and making TikToks together, and many other activities.
