ACE in Vietnam ’16 alum and Stanford Women’s Track and Field alum Rachel Reichenbach will soon return to Vietnam as a recipient of the Fulbright Fellowship. Describing the Fulbright Fellowship in a Stanford conducted Q&A interview, Reichenbach says, “The Fulbright will be a research project looking at ethics and service. I’ll be trying to find new ways to train American volunteers to foster conversations between the Americans and Vietnamese staff members and volunteers in a way that makes the service more respectful on both sides. I’m so excited. It’s a dream come true to be doing this.”

In the interview, Reichenbach also looks back on her formative experience with ACE in Vietnam 2016 and how reflections on ACE guided undergraduate research surrounding the ethics of of short-term international service trips.
