“Athletic administration officials from Duke University and Stanford University announced on Monday a joint civic engagement initiative for student-athletes from both institutions. The project, set to begin in the summer of 2015, is being made possible through the vision and generosity of David Rubenstein and Peter and Helen Bing.
The foundation of the venture includes student-athletes from both Duke and Stanford working together in under-resourced communities in the United States and abroad.
