Participating in ACE this summer is important to me for the friendships and relationships I’ll develop with fellow student-athletes at Duke and Stanford and the community partners we’ll work with. I’m so excited to participate and have an experience abroad that will fulfill my goals to have a positive social, community, and environmental impact both on the program and after.

Chloe Beittel’s past experiences with community engagement includes teaching young girls fencing at Duke’s Girls in Sports day, performing in benefit concerts with the Duke Chorale, and advocating for common sense gun control measures in the California State Legislature.
