The ACE program provides an incredibly unique opportunity to collaborate with both Vietnamese and American college students in order to make a positive impact in others’ lives.
As part of the ACE in Vietnam program, participants will teach academics, sports and life skills to students at under-resourced middle schools in the Mekong Delta with the aim of encouraging them to prepare for higher education.
Sajan’s past experiences with service include membership in Stanford Sanskriti, the undergraduate South Asian organization; and membership on the Student Advisory Board for the Anderson Collection art gallery. With his teammates, he participated in Children Champions Day, where he taught local youth about fencing.
