Participating in ACE was a priority for me because of the opportunity to make make a difference and have a positive impact on the world while being able to connect with other student athletes.
Abby’s past experiences with community engagement includes volunteering as a tutor for local kids in Durham and volunteering at many different Special Olympic events such as track, soccer, and bocce ball.
