“I chose to participate in the ACE program this summer to learn about a different culture and to have an impact on a community in another part of the world. ACE provides not only the opportunity to travel, but to also have a meaningful impact on the lives of others.”
As part of the Duke in South Africa program, Jaisel will assist with basic healthcare initiatives, activity-based education and teaching, light construction, and sports programs in the community of Nomzamo township near Cape Town.
