I’m honored to have the opportunity to work alongside other student athletes in Vietnam. It’s exciting to step outside of my comfort zone and work with local young adults and students towards a common goal. We’re pretty competitive during the racing season and I think it’s going to be a lot of fun to channel that energy in a way that makes a difference to myself and others.”
As part of the ACE in Vietnam program, Grace will teach academics, sports and life skills to students at under-resourced middle schools in the Mekong Delta with the aim of encouraging them to prepare for higher education.
Grace’s past experiences with service include membership in the Student Athlete Advisory Committee.
